Open Technologies has been established in Brescia in 2001 with the purpose of design and produce optical 3D scanners for the dental and industrial fields. Thanks to the constant progress of the R&D department, and thanks to the company’s investments in the innovation field, Open Technologies is today the leader on the Italian market of the scan systems, with a range of models in continuous evolution and a 30% exponential annual growth.
The philosophy that inspires the company since its foundation, and that is still its main purpose, is the production of Made in Italy 3D scanners that are innovative but, in the meantime, user-friendly.
With a 70% of its turnover coming from the foreign countries and authorized distributors in more than 50 countries, Open Technologies is strongly present on the international market, also thanks to some important partnerships, like
Exocad in the dental field, or Geomagic in the industrial one.
With the purpose of constantly improving the final users’ technical support, all the Open Technologies’ distributors are properly trained to take care of clients’ technical needs and they are also regularly updated on the company’s products development and on the evolution of the scan technology.
A basic aspect of the company philosophy is also the interest for its human resources, for which Open Technologies invests part of its turnover, with the purpose of keeping its staff members and its distributors constantly updated and trained.
