Founded in 1960 by Renato Ganna, La Ticino develops and manufactures brakes for electric motors and accessories for tower cranes since half a century. Today the company is located in Turbigo (MI). It has a new "home", more modern and functional, and is ready for the challenges and projects of the future.
Spring applied brakes for electric motors are an important part of production; in addition to this, we sell spare parts for tower cranes, electrical accessories and other components related to the lift market.
The catalog of La Ticino also includes a section of customized products, some of them no longer in production but still widely used by cranes constructor, renter, repairer and final user. By the way, La Ticino is also capable of producing some specific parts according to customer needs. The distinguishing characteristic of La Ticino are the constant testing, continuous innovation and quality control on each piece, thanks to the enhanced test area.
