The property, known as "La Piggia" has belonged to our family for several generations and since the seventies there were farmers who lived off fruit , breeding cattle in the barn on the ground floor and worked in the field, planted with fodder, olive groves , and cereals. Later the countryside was depopulated, the abandoned house was used as a warehouse, and on the ground, which was likely to remain uncultivated, a vineyard was planted. In the early 2000 the house was restored and modernized and since then it has occasionally been rented. In 2015 there was a major restructuring with the creation of a new pool, pergolas, with an outer area of accommodation and service improvement and home furnishing, to enable it to welcome international customers accustomed to high standards. The aim is to better use the property as an asset that has some unique features, popular to the first visitors, whom we thank. During the winter season we continue working to improve it and any suggestions will be appreciated.
