Almost 15 years ago my Italian dream came true: I won a one year scholarship in Italy as I was studying foreign languages and art history in Romania, where I was born. During my first year in Florence I realized that this was my very special city in Tuscany and I decided to stay here and continue studying art history. Since then, I have always worked in the Tourism industry but my greatest achievement was getting the license as a tour guide in Florence and its Province. Besides the artistic knowledge and the preparation as a tour guide of Florence, I discovered through all these years the fascinating Tuscan folklore, the delicious typical Tuscan food that I now prepare thanks to my Florentine mother in law who shared with me the secrets of the best ribollita, bistecca alla Fiorentina or the Tuscan crostini. I discovered the magic hidden in a glass of Chianti and the terrific personality of the Florentine people. I enjoy every single day in this beautiful city with its hidden secrets, its richness of colors, smells, sound and tastes.
