Mauna KEA® is a brand that expresses Contemporary Street Style with a handmade heart and strong technological achievements.
MAUNA KEA® creates a design strictly connected to the street and the underground attitude, in a continuous dialogue with travelling, nature and exploration.

The name MAUNA KEA® is inspired by an inactive volcano of the Hawaii Islands: an unique place with a unique history. On the
crater it is possible to see the snow, while downhiil there is the sea: it is the only place on earth where you can enjoy a sunset over
the sea, sitting on the snow at 4,500 meters.

On 1988, during a trip, an Italian surfer fell in love with this mixed and no season spirit.
After this he founded the brand MAUNA KEA®, that became a real commercial fever and a urban philosophy in the 90’s, marking the Italian sportswear in that period.
Today the team of designers behind COOL FARM, a young start up company based in Florence, is relaunching the brand, maintaining the same philosophy with a completely reinterpreted image and a contemporary mood.
