E.I.L.A

is a group of young professional teachers with a great depth of knowledge of Italian language and Art history.

Our aim is to put our students at the center of the lessons using the most modern teaching techniques.

Our idea is to develop a relationship between Language and Art history. For this reason we offer two type of courses:

1) Italian language courses

2) Art History courses

The students will have the opportunity to chose one or both courses.

Italian language course

The tutor’s emphasis will be on the correct pronunciation of the Italian language. Enthusiastic encouragement will be given to achieve the goals and the establishment of Italian grammar required in practical situations.

We focus on the most important abilities which are: Speaking, Listening and Comprehension.

Art history course (A2 Italian language Level required)

The tutor’s purpose will be to introduce the student to the History of Venetian Art These courses are to be considered as complementary to the Italian Language courses. Lessons are both in class and in the historical art places of Venice. The students will be making direct contact with works of art in the context of the historical environment.
