Convinti che fare design significhi realizzare un dialogo fruttuoso con il proprio committente, nel rispetto del contesto creativo e dei costi di produzione, Alberto Basaglia e Natalia Rota Nodari dal 1997 realizzano progetti per l’architettura d’interni e l’edilizia, ma anche il settore food, con l’obiettivo di concretizzare un design dalle linee pulite ma dal carattere spiccato, che sia utile a chi lo usa ed anche economicamente vantaggioso per chi la produce.

INDUSTRIAL DESIGN
Il design è una riflessione pratica, oltre che estetica, senza volontà di autocompiacimento. Un processo che, in linea con le caratteristiche dell’azienda che li realizza, genera prodotti in cui il rapporto tra valore percepito e prezzo é comprensibile al consumatore. Un progetto che trae linfa e ispirazione dalla contemporaneità ma che nasce con l’ambizione di continuare ad esistere e significare anche dopo molto tempo dal suo concepimento.
Dal settore food a quello delle costruzioni e dell’arredo di interni, questa idea di design si declina nei lavori di Alberto Basaglia e Natalia Rota Nodari mantenendosi nel tempo coerentemente espressa. Esempi ne sono le lunghe e significative esperienze con De Nardi, Diemmebi, MaMà Design Italia, Lema, Luxit, Pedrali, Rexite, YDF, Fermob e Vlaemynck, Tino Sana e Caffè Bonomi. Aziende di settori diversi con cui la coppia di architetti ha realizzato progetti creativi caratterizzati da un costante dialogo e condivisione del percorso e degli obiettivi.

ARCHITECTURE
Il design é come un fuoco di prospettiva da cui guardare il mondo. Per ordinarlo o per arricchirlo, mai per complicarlo. Per questo nella progettazione architetturale, così come nel progetto di prodotto, l’attenzione al cliente, al contesto ambientale ed ai processi produttivi sono al centro dell’analisi di Alberto Basaglia e Natalia Rota Nodari. Molti i progetti in cui si sono cimentati, dal recupero ambientale e di edifici industriali alla progettazione ex novo di unità abitative ed head quarters di grandi societa’ industriali.
Tra gli interventi eseguiti, esempio della loro cifra stilistica, vanno menzionati Blitz Bovisa e Fornace Parietti, recupero Cava De Rocca.

DESIGN MANAGEMENT
Il design non riguarda solo oggetti, che siano piccoli come luci da tavolo o grandi come dimore. Il design é immaginazione applicata alle potenzialità di una azienda, per migliorare la sua risposta alle esigenze del mercato ma anche, perché no, per liberarne energie che sono ancora solo in potenza.
Con questo approccio Alberto Basaglia e Natalia Rota Nodari hanno sviluppato nuovi prodotti, elaborato loghi e rinnovato identità aziendali, collaborando con realtà prestigiose quali De Nardi, Diemmebi, Luxit, Pedrali, Ydf, Tino Sana e molte altre.

Semplificare, ottimizzare e far emergere unicità e personalità. Ogni oggetto nel suo contesto, ogni interno con un suo sapore.
Alberto Basaglia e Natalia Rota Nodari progettano spazi in grado di adattarsi a chi li vive. Spazi costruiti sulla personalità del proprietario e sul suo stile di vita. Per gli allestimenti, coerentemente con questa filosofia, immaginano ambienti che attraverso l’uso sapiente dei volumi e della luce valorizzano gli oggetti senza soverchiarli.

Firmly convinced that doing design means engaging in a productive dialogue with one’s client, respecting the creative context and always with an eye to production costs, since 1997 Alberto Basaglia and Natalia Rota Nodari have been developing projects for the interior architecture and construction sectors, as well as for the food sector, with the aim of putting into action design items with clean lines yet with a strong personality, that can be useful to those who use them as well as cost-effective for the companies that produces them.

INDUSTRIAL DESIGN
In addition to being a reflection on appearance, design is a practical reflection, with no intention for complacency. A process that, in tune with the characteristics of the company that manufactures them, generates produces where the ratio between perceived value and price can be understood by the consumer. A project that draws nourishment and inspiration from contemporaneousness but that originates with the ambition of living on and retain meaning even after a long time has passed from its conception.
From the food sector to construction to the interior design sector, this idea of design is developed in the works by Alberto Basaglia and Natalia Rota Nodari maintaining a consistent expression over time. Examples of this are the longstanding and valuable experiences with the companies De Nardi, Diemmebi, MaMà Design Italia, Lema, Luxit, Pedrali, Rexite, YDF, Fermob and Vlaemynck, Tino Sana and Caffè Bonomi. Companies from different sectors for whom the pair of architects has developed creative projects characterised by a constant dialogue and sharing of the itinerary and of the objectives.

ARCHITECTURE
Design is like a focus of perspective from which to look at the world. To organise it or to enrich it, never to make it more complicated. This is why during the architectural design process, just like product design, attention to the customer, to the environmental context and to the production processes are at the centre of the analysis conducted by Alberto Basaglia and Natalia Rota Nodari. Over the years, they have been involved in many projects, from environmental reclamation and the renovation of industrial buildings, to the ex novo design of housing units and headquarters of major industrial companies.
The pair’s projects, example of their signature style, include some that deserve special mention, such as the Blitz Bovisa and Fornace Parietti, the recovery of Cava De Rocca.
