Niù - Company Profile

Niù nasce nel gennaio 1999 a Udine grazie all’impegno di due fratelli: Serena e Bruno Cibischino.
Il nome stesso dell’azienda, Niù, racchiude in sé tutta la filosofia del marchio.
Niù infatti in friulano significa “nido”, termine che trasmette l’idea di casa, protezione, appartenenza. Ma a sua volta è anche la trascrizione fonetica della parola inglese “New”, “Nuovo”. Niù, quindi, come sinonimo di un nuovo modo di vestire, di un prodotto innovativo, ma trasformabile e personalizzabile in accordo col proprio modo di essere e nel quale, dunque, riconoscersi.
Forme semplici, femminili, quei pezzi sapienti che non mancano mai nel guardaroba di una donna intelligente. Le Nostre collezioni donna nascono da un viaggio e si ispirano ai colori, alle stampe, alla cultura del Paese. Punto di forza sono gli abiti, ma Niù è anche total look: capispalla, pantaloni, gonne, maglie ed accessori come stole, sciarpe, cinture, borse, bijoux e calzature. / Niù was founded in January 1999 in Udine through the efforts of a sister and brother: Serena and Bruno Cibischino.
The name of the company, niù, embodies the entire philosophy of the brand. In fact, in Friulian (our dialect), niù means "nest", a term that conveys the idea of home, protection and belonging. But it is the phonetic spelling of the English word "new".
So, Niù is a synonym for a new way of dressing, of a product that is innovative, but that can also be transformed and personalised to match your way of being and in which you recognize yourself. Our collections come to life from a trip and are inspired by the colors, by the prints and by the culture of the country. The strong point are the dresses, but niù is also total look for women: coats, jackets, trousers, skirts, shirts and accessories as scarves, stoles, belts, bags, bijoux, shoes.
