Mazzanti Automobili was born from the passion for sports cars and the experience and expertise of Luca Mazzanti , to bring in a world of rules, conformity and lack of imagination, the car to its true worth: from aseptic object, tool used only by necessity, to subject, wherever protagonist.

Until 2010, the creation of original cars was developed in parallel with the restoration of vintage cars. Since 2010, Luca Mazzanti is totally dedicated to the production of modern supercars and to the development of the brand which in the meantime has evolved into Mazzanti Automoblili.

Biography of Luca Mazzanti
He was born in the beautiful Tuscany, Pistoia February 1, 1974 and, since childhood, very fond of engines, began to draw and edit car models, cultivating the dream of becoming, when grown up, a supercar builder.
In the late '80s he started working in the bodywork of the family; later, in the early nineties, he began working with Mario Faralli, who will be his great teacher.
In little more than twenty years he got a big experience in restoring some of the rarest and most important cars ever built , as Cisitalia 202, Ferrari 500 Mondial and Maserati 450 Costin/Zagato (also known as "The Monster") set up specially for Sir Stirling Moss, who drove it in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1957.
Very often Mazzanti was asked to completely rebuild totally destroyed cars, only having the chassis and some faded photo, by recreating the shapes, cutting and shaping aluminum, and doing all the rest, totally by hand.
His boundless passion for cars led him to also become a fan motorcycles and achieve a "special" on the Ducati mechanics; at the same time, love for speed drives him to participate in many uphill races with prototype sports cars and Abarth personally restored .
Meanwhile, the growing commitment on the cars restoration meant that Mazzanti has been daily and for a long time challenged to interpret the style and methods of construction of the most important "body builders" of the story of automobile like Pininfarina, Zagato, Vignale, Touring and so on, exceptionally increasing his know-how.
All this, combined with many years of work experience gained on modern cars, built up in him his own stylistic identity, as well as its own concept of design and construction. So, after years devoted to the works of art of the most famous auto makers, also came the time for him to start working from scratch on his own creation.
In 2001 he created as the first "barchetta", designed together with Walter Faralli on behalf of a client; this was the true kick off that pushed him to give life to the brand F&M and to the first own car conceived, designed and built: the Antas.
Thus began a dramatic growing of commitments on a large number of projects tailored to its customers and acquiring an impressive image and credibility collected in a very short time; in the meantime the brand has evolved into " Mazzanti Automobili", and their cars became protagonist of the best exhibits at the world's most exclusive motorsports events, as well as important film productions.
In 2011, after three years of working side by side with designer Zsolt Tarnok , Luca Mazzanti presented the draft of the first mid-engined car Mazzanti branded, designed for a small , exclusive and very custom production. Ladies and gentlemen, Evantra has born!

Mazzanti Automobili nasce dalla passione per le auto sportive e dall'esperienza e competenza di Luca Mazzanti, per riportare, in un mondo ormai succube di troppe regole, conformismi e mancanza di fantasia, la vettura al suo giusto valore: da asettico oggetto, strumento da usare solo per necessità, a soggetto, protagonista ovunque si trovi.

Fino al 2010, lo sviluppo e la creazione di auto originali si è sviluppato in parallelo all'attività di restauro di auto storiche. Dal 2010, Luca Mazzanti si è dedicato totalmente alla produzione di moderne supercar e allo sviluppo del marchio che nel frattempo é evoluto in Mazzanti Automoblili.

Biografia di Luca Mazzanti
Nasce nella stupenda toscana, a Pistoia il primo febbraio del 1974 e fin da piccolo, appassionatissimo di motori, inizia a disegnare automobili e a modificare modellini, coltivando il sogno di diventare, un giorno, costruttore di supercar…
Verso la fine degli anni '80, contemporaneamente agli studi, inizia a lavorare nella carrozzeria di famiglia, poi nei primi anni novanta inizia a collaborare con Mario Faralli, che sarà il suo grande maestro.
In poco più di venti anni forma la propria esperienza restaurando alcune tra le più rare e importanti automobili mai costruite, dalle Cisitalia 202 alla Ferrari 500 Mondial fino alla Maserati 450 Costin/Zagato (denominata "Il mostro") allestita appositamente per Sir Stirling Moss, che la guidò alla 24 ore di Le mans del 1957.
Molto spesso Mazzanti si trova a ricarrozzare completamente auto dalle carrozzerie totalmente distrutte, di cui rimaneva soltanto lo chassis e qualche foto sbiadita, ricreandone le forme, incidendo e modellando l'alluminio totalmente a mano.
La sua sconfinata passione per i motori lo porta ad appassionarsi anche alle moto e a realizzare una particolarissima "special" su meccanica Ducati; allo stesso tempo, l'amore per la velocità, lo spinge a partecipare a numerose gare in salita con vetture sport prototipo e Abarth restaurate personalmente.
Intanto il crescente impegno sulle vetture in restauro fa sì che Luca si trovi quotidianamente a interpretare lo stile ed i metodi di costruzione dei più importanti "carrozzieri" della storia dell' automobile, da Pininfarina a Zagato, da Vignale a Touring, accrescendo eccezionalmente il proprio know-how.
Tutto questo, unito ai tanti anni di esperienza lavorativa acquisita sulle auto moderne, plasma giorno dopo giorno in lui la propria identità stilistica, così come un proprio concetto progettuale e costruttivo. Così, dopo anni dedicati alle opere d' arte dei più famosi creatori di auto, arriva anche per lui il momento di iniziare a lavorare da zero su una sua creazione.
Nel 2001 realizza così la prima "barchetta", disegnata insieme a Walter Faralli per conto di un cliente; questa sarà la vera molla che lo spingerà a dare vita al marchio F&M ed alla prima propria automobile disegnata, progettata e realizzata: la Antas.
Inizia così un vertiginoso crescendo di impegni sui numerosi progetti creati su misura per i suoi clienti e un'impressionante acquisizione di immagine e di credibilità raccolti in brevissimo tempo dal marchio "F&M" che nel frattempo si è evoluto in "Mazzanti Automobili", soprattutto attraverso le proprie le creazioni, invitate ad esibire ad i più esclusivi eventi motoristici mondiali, nonché ad importantissime produzioni cinematografiche.
Nel 2011, dopo tre anni di lavoro fianco a fianco con il designer Zsolt Tarnok, Luca Mazzanti presenta il progetto della prima vettura a motore centrale marchiata Mazzanti automobili, pensata per una piccola, esclusiva e personalizzatissima produzione. Signori, è nata Evantra.
