The objective of the project EuroMigMob (European network of migrations and mobility) is to develop a network of municipalities from all over Europe, about the migrations in Europe and European mobility, especially youth.

All municipalities involved in the project have the point in common to have been, or still being, arrival/departure areas of populations. Indeed, in the last decades, millions of people crossed Europe seeking job and a better life.

The migrations in Europe, during the past decades, have influenced the economic, social and cultural development, both of countries of origin and of destination. Therefore, the project EuroMigMob, on one hand, looks to the past and all migrations in Europe, that have influenced and marked the several European regions, and still represent an extraordinary value in common; on other hand, the project looks to the future and to the numerous possibilities of development, growth, education, study and job, above all for youth, offered by policies that promote the mobility within the different European countries. Moreover European mobility , related to European market, is one of the main movement freedom, along with goods. Therefore, are connected as well all transfers of goods and services within European zone and among the several areas and countries.

OBJECTIVES

The project will involve more than 20 municipalities from different European countries (Hungary, Romania, Italy, France, and Croatia) and foresees 4 international conferences, in 4 different European countries.

Moreover, the 4 events of the project will permit to citizens of different municipalities to interact and exchange relationship, building and reinforcing the values of European integration and community, while to the involved municipalities, to debate about arguments of common interest, finding possible common solutions and proposing further joint activities to develop in perspective of cultural, social and economic growth.

Furthermore, the project has also the objective, in short/medium time, to create and reinforcing the relationships between association and groups, overall youth, present in the areas of municipalities involved, besides between citizens and municipalities.

The project foresees 4 international conferences:

1st Event: Intra-European Migration and Mobility : Two "interconnected issues Event "

2nd Event: “History of Intra-European Migration and the opportunity offered by the European integration/Mobility”

3rd Event: "The European year of citizens- shaping the future"

4th Event: “New ways, Best practices, methodologies and instruments to promote, EU common History, Preservation of Memory and the EU integration process ( especially mobility of young people)”
