The first Italian Language course was in June 9th, 1958.
Since 1957 Eurocentres Firenze, the first state-recognized school of foreign languages in Florence, is located in Palazzo Guadagni, a Renaissance palace dating from 1502 which is in the middle of the old town centre near the Ponte Vecchio.
