The property is a two minute walk to the village of Osteria Nuova (one shop and Post Office), while the larger village of Antella is 3k away, where there are a variety of food shops, a Thursday market and a bar providing delicious home made ice-cream. A bus for Florence runs regularly from both these villages, the trip taking approx. 40mins. By car Florence takes 20mins.
