MET is restaurant, aperitif club and cocktail bar situated in Rome in the area of Ponte Milvio, crossroad of styles and trends and platform of aggregation for the capital’s trendsetters.

MET STYLE

The style of MET is characterized by the essential in the furnishing of the spaces involved. The lines are linear and clean, avoiding excessive decoration, so that the atmosphere is open and airy - that which is in surplus has been carefully and intentionally avoided. The white tones of the decor offer a background to few other colours that alternate in the various areas, reaching a maximum of three: white, black and the dark brown of the tables. Few elements, specialized materials, executive rigour, pure geometry and a sense of order reinforce the minimalist philosophy of the design. The result is a distinctive and international atmosphere.

The philosophy of the cuisine of MET may be defined as concept kitchen.

MET CONTEMPORARY MEDITERRANEAN CUISINE

Based on express made-to-order preparation, with limited fats and oils. Butter is NEVER employed, instead use is made exclusively of olive oil extra virgin, one of the best forms of cooking and that which is best adapted to achieving the final objective of absolute respect for the food ingredients which, if of top quality, require very little manipulation. In the MET kitchen particular attention is given to fish, one of the most precious foods for the client who seeks a balanced diet, low in fats and rich in microelements.
