La Cedimar ha collaborato col progetto ResUrch, un consorzio che è stato impegnato nello studio della produzione sostenibile del riccio di mare.

Cedimar is a private company that operates in Sardinia in the sea food sector and it is specialized in research, processes and distribution of the sea food products of the local fisheries. Cedimar is consolidated in the local market and it focused on the excellence of products, including sea urchin roe.

The modern factory includes all controls on hygiene, quality and products freshness, including a modern packaging system (Modified Atmosphere Packaging of Fish and Seafood) and a consolidate market brand. Cedimar supply the main supermarket chains (GDO) and shopping centers in Sardinia guaranteeing a fast and widespread distribution. Product lines include the “Fresh and Ready”, “Take Away” a cooked line of sea food products and “Golden and White” such as salted cod and sardines, or smoked specialties such as herring. A recent sea food product includes the brand name “Sushidea” to satisfy a portion of consumers.

Cedimar collaborated with ResUrch Project, a consortium that was engaged to study the sustainable production of sea urchin.
