L’affascinante storia del Gruppo Tessile Arnaldo Caprai comincia nel 1955, quando Arnaldo Caprai intraprende e sviluppa, con passione e competenza, l’attività di venditore di corredi e biancheria per la casa nell’Italia Centrale.

L’obiettivo, oggi come ieri, è sempre lo stesso: perseguire una filosofia produttiva fortemente vincolata alla qualità, al Made in Italy, attraverso un lavoro costante e meticoloso, una continua ricerca e la diffusione della cultura e della tradizione tessile di cui l’azienda da sempre si fa interprete.

Tutta la produzione del Gruppo Tessile Arnaldo Caprai è interamente – ed orgogliosamente - made in Italy. Il cammino che porta dall’ideazione dei capi alla loro produzione e confezione è punteggiato da diverse tappe, che insieme formano la filiera tessile integrata, interamente ed …orgogliosamente Made in Italy dal 1955. L’ampia gamma dei prodotti ( tovaglie, runners, lenzuola, coperte, spugne, tende, centri..) è impreziosita da bellissimi merletti che traggono ispirazione dalla Collezione Museale dell’azienda che, con i suoi oltre 24.000 reperti è considerate la più importante collezione privata delle arti tessili esistente al mondo (www.museocaprai.it).

La Arnaldo Caprai è una delle prime aziende ad ottenere il certificato "TF- Traceability & Fashion", il marchio che identifica il sistema di tracciabilità dell’Italian Textile Fashion (l’associazione delle Camere di Commercio, nata con l’obiettivo di valorizzare e rafforzare il sistema della moda italiana assicurando la trasparenza delle informazioni al consumatore finale).

The fascinating history of Arnaldo Caprai begins in 1955, the year in which Mr. Arnaldo Caprai, with great passion and immense talent, embarked on a career as household linen sales representative.

Today, the objective is always the same: To pursue a production philosophy of excellence and “Made in Italy” through constant and meticulous work and to continue research and the diffusion of textile culture and tradition.

All of the production of the Arnaldo Caprai Gruppo Tessile is entirely – and proudly – Made in Italy. The journey that begins with the creation of the articles and moves on with the production and the actual making up is marked by several steps that, taken together, create the integrated textile production process. The wide range of high-quality products (tablecloths, runners, bed sheets, bedspreads, towels, curtains, centrepieces..), focused on the exaltation of the most prestigious lace, is inspired by the Textile Museum Collection of the company (www.museocaprai.it). The Museum Collection, which is under the patronage of the Ministry of National Heritage and Culture, at present features more than 24,000 exhibits and is considered “the largest private textile collection in the world”. The Arnaldo Caprai Study and Research Centre experts are in charge of the collection and they are responsible for the restoration, classification and study of exhibits and the publication of monographic studies.

The Arnaldo Caprai Group is one of the first firms that, thanks to the possibility of tracing the origin of its products, can boast the “TF-Traceability & Fashion” certificate which refers to the traceability system of the Italian Textile Fashion (the association of Chambers of Commerce which has the aim of enhancing and strengthening the Italian fashion system and of providing consumers with transparent information).
