Master Goldsmith Marco Mancini meets this noble art for the first time in 1978. His passion led him to produce complex and spectacular works of art, such as: precious crowns, pastoral crosses, shrines and the book Navalia, made in precious metal dedicated to his hometown Civitavecchia. Six of his sacred creations gained him an audience with Pope "Giovanni Paolo II" who then blessed his artistic creations. The artist began his career under the name "MARCO L'ORAFO" (Marco the Goldsmith), his logo was created by using the first initial of his first name "M", that will later evolve into the current trademark of the company.
After the creation of his masterpiece "Navalia" he reached his artistic maturity and learned how to use symbolism as a way to tell the history of the jewels. From here came the second evolution of the name, "MARCO gioielli d'arte" (Marco Jewels of Art), along with this new evolution came a change in the company logo represented by the head of a lion holding a ring in its jaws; this lion head was a faithful reproduction of the sculpture by Master Jacopo Dell 'Opera which dates back to 1519.
During the following years, Marco's children, Alessandro and Sara, joined the family business to follow in their father footsteps. Their presence inspired Master Marco to work alongside with them to create a "new face" of the brand and a new company logo. They aimed to produce his newest masterpiece, a work of art that people have never seen before. This marked the launching of the "ROYAL EYEWEAR" project, a line of eyewear made of gold and precious stones. For the logo they decided to maintain the original "M" of Marco's brand, rotated 90 ° to the right and mirrored it, symbolizing the shape of an eyewear. Their new brand, MANCINI LUXURY JEWELS has landed them a spot in the luxury market.
