Dalla passione per la cultura spagnola è nata l’idea di ricreare nel caratteristico centro storico di Monopoli, la magia della terra caliente di Spagna. E’ nato così il ristorante Hostaria de Don Juan situato al piano terra di una antica corte a pochi passi dalla Porta Vecchia, antico ingresso della città e dal bellissimo mare Adriatico che ne costeggia le mura. Il locale ha raccolto l’idea di esprimere la cultura spagnola nelle sue proposte gastronomiche e nella sua particolare estetica dove si è fortemente voluto ricreare un colorato e caratteristico ambiente tipico della Spagna. Muri in pietra a vista, archi e pavimento in cotto creano una location che mescola sapori decisi e ricercati con una sistemazione raffinata ed estremamente elegante negli arredi dove il bianco ed il legno sono i colori dominanti e, tovaglie decorate e luci soffuse, contribuiscono ad esaltarne la cura dei dettagli in un perfetto connubio che ci aiuta nel nostro unico intento, ovvero, permettere alla nostra clientela di passare dei piacevoli momenti e di assaporare un’esperienza molto particolare, unica ed intensa. Durante la bella stagione gli ospiti possono scegliere di pranzare o cenare all'aperto sotto un gazebo di altissima fattura avvolti nella particolare atmosfera che solo questi posti possono evocare.

The idea to recreate the magic of Spain in the characteristic historic centre of Monopoli came from the passion for spanish culture. Therefore, the restaurant Hostaria de Don Juan was established in the ground floor of an ancient courtyard few steps away from Porta Vecchia, ancient entrance of the city, and from the beautiful Adriatic Sea which surrounds the ancient walls. The restaurant embraces the idea to tail the Spanish culture in its dishes and in its interior design in which the owner recreated a characteristic and colorful environment typical of Spain. Stonewalls, cottotile arches and pavements create a location that mixes a strong and refined flavor with an elegant and sophisticated ambiance where withe and wood are the dominant colors, and decorated tablecloths and suffused lights contribute to enhance the care for details in a perfect mixture for the owner's only intent, which is to give the opportunity to enjoy pleasant moments and to live an unique, intense and particular experience. Moreover During the spring-summer period customers have the possibility to have lunch or dinner outdoor under a high quality gazebo immersed in an unique atmosphere that only these places can recall..
