SMA Crash Cushions and End Terminals
From the excellence of Industry A.M.S.' Road Safety Dept. came out “SMA Crash Cushions and End Terminals” which distinguish themselves for their high security, incredible strength and wide-ranging suitability.
These devices fully meet the road safety requirements according to the EN 1317 and NCHRP 350, assuring a great protection in case of impact. They are the most compact absorbers available on the market and for this reason SMA crash cushions can be installed in tight spaces, like tunnels and junctions.
SMA are completely made of steel, they are non-flammable and tunnel compatible according to the UNI EN ISO 13943/2004 (Fire Safety).
Their strength means that after a standard impact, only the absorbing panels need to be changed which will reduce maintenance costs.
