Il Ritrovo is a wonderful family-run Italian restaurant located above Positano, on Italy's Amalfi coast. Master chef Barbara Salvatore opened the restaurant 27 years ago, and continues to receive high praise from critics and customers alike. We serve traditional Amalfi dishes made from the freshest ingredients, often sourcing our vegetables, fruits, eggs and herbs from the garden of Salvatore's parents, located above the restaurant.

We are consistently ranked as one of the top restaurants on TripAdvisor, and encourage you to take a look at the reviews from our guests. If you reserve a table, we're more than happy to pick you up from Positano and drive you back after your meal, as the restaurant is a decent walk from town!

In addition to serving lunch and dinner on a daily basis, Chef Salvatore and his Aunt, Marilu, teach hands-on cooking classes. Chef Salvatore has traveled throughout Europe and to the US and Japan to teach chefs the art of Italian cooking. Our cooking classes make for an unforgettable experience, and are often the highlight of visitors' trips to Positano.
